Science Week 2018
We had two very different theme days for this year's Science week. The first was a visit by a forensic scientist. Children took part in a workshop to investigate a terrible crime!
The second day was superbly organised by Mrs Foster, our Science co-ordinator. Children worked with children of different ages to them during the morning, planning and creating a way of stopping an egg from cracking when dropped from a height of 2m. During the afternoon, children went back to their classrooms and took part in a variety of investigations.
In Reception Class, children also watched their living eggs hatch and cared for the chicks. What a thrill!
Due to the Beast from the East, our Science week was spread over two weeks!
