Batley Parish CE Primary Academy

This is a very exciting half term of us in nursery. We had lots of special festivals to celebrate. This half term we learnt about Bonfire Night, Diwali and Christmas. In R.E we learnt about the Christmas story and why Christians celebrate Christmas. We created our own Christmas wish lists using cutting, sticking and ascribing meanings to the marks we made, we practised Christmas songs for our parent 'Mince Pie Morning', made our own salt dough decorations for the nursery and school tree, wrote letters to Father Christmas, made Diva lamps out of clay and painted them, created bonfire and firework collages, paintings and computer pictures and made Christmas cards using hand and footprints.
