Learning Together Mornings (Parents and Children)

Every Monday from 9.00 to 9.30 classs 1 will hold a shared learning morning. This is a wonderful opportunity to work alongside your child and the staff. There will be a range of activities set up that will showcase all of the fun and exciting ways we learn in Class 1. A big thank you to the parents that attended the shared learning morning. We hope to see you at future sessions.

Missing Gruffalo!
Class 1 walked in on a crime scene! The Gruffalo had been kidnapped and the children had to look at the clues to find out who had taken him.

We had a brilliant visit to the church. We shared what we already knew and also found out lots of new information. We even had the chance to see the bell tower.

Class 1 and 4 visited the local mosque. The children had the opportunity to meet the imam and learnt about how and where muslims pray.

We have been learning about 3D shapes. We had a look around the classroom to see what shapes we could find and then labelled them. We had a go at building castles and towers with lots of different 3D Shapes.

We found a new way to investigate our number bonds. We separated a whole number into 2 parts. Khadija said 'If you swap the numbers around you will still have the same total.'
