This half term our power of reading text is 'The Heavenly elephant' from The Lion and the unicorn.
We are looking forward to this as we have already enjoyed reading 'The singing ringing tree' from this book and produced some amazing writing from this.

This half term, our Power of Reading text is Ice Palace by Robert Swindells.
We have enjoyed predicting what could happen in the story. We even acted out how the villagers would feel in the summer and in the winter!
